Wheelchair basketball is the largest wheelchair sport in the UK, with many thousands of people of all ages playing in league and recreational clubs all over the country. It is an inclusive sport, offering opportunites for people with a lower limb impairment as well as for able bodied people to get involved and play at all levels of ability.
British Wheelchair Basketball is the national governing body, providing support to around 130 clubs and over 1600 playing members, coaches, officials and volunteers. It co-ordinates the national league, as well as a number of major tournaments, events and the largest women's and junior leagues in the world.
